Our weekend!

This weekend was just as crazy as our week. We started off pumpkin picking and the girls had so much fun. We ended up at the neighbors house Sat to roast marshmellows then today after church we decorated the house. All the kids came over to help. It was such a great weekend. Here are a few pictures.

Week 8!

On Monday we had our co-op and a very special treat! Angela's neighbor is a police officer and he came over to teach the kids about safety. It was awesome!!! They had a blast, asked tons of questions and even got to sit in the police car. What a wonderful day!









On Tuesday we went to The Renaissance Fair with some friends. It rained the whole time but we all had a blast!! The girls were exhausted. At the end Olivia even got to play with some of the musicians there. She was in Heaven!!! That was the highlight of her day.





Wednesday we RESTED! LOL!! WE were exhausted. Thursday Brooke went back to preschool and Olivia went in to read to her class. She did an amazing job and had all the kids laughing. She loved it!

Oh Friday Brooke had gymnastics and we finished up our work week with daddy and Olivia doing her science project. I realized I don't take pictures of the work they are doing so I will start that this week. :)

Week 5-7

We have been sick on and off for the last couple weeks so trying to fit everything in one post for weeks 5-7. The girls are doing great and continuing to have a great time at home and in school. The last couple weeks at co-op we have had such a BLAST!!! We made pumpkin muffins with the kids then did a science experiment with Julie to see what kind of things float and sink. The kids loved this!

We are continuing Story of the world and last week we learned about Pyramids and mummies. We made pyramids out of sugar cubes.

In science we learned about acids and bases. This is the girls tasting different things that have acids and bases. This is lemon juice...an acid. HAHAHA

Russell and Olivia also did a science experiment on mixing and un-mixing. I love that daddy is so involved!

Brooke is taking gymnastics and LOOOOVEEEESSSS it! She was so upset that we could not go this week. We just can't seem to get past this cold and sinus thing. Every time we get better someone gets it again. UGH!!! Anyway, this is her enjoying her little class.

Things have been pretty quiet. We are just trying to get well and get on with it already. Olivia is on break from school for a couple weeks and we have some fun things planned!
She had a big party in her Spanish class last week and that was a lot of fun. She is still reading her little heart out and things have really just been great. Brooke has been having a tough time going to school. She cries in the morning but once she gets there she really enjoys it. I hope she does not continue to cry. It really just breaks my heart! I know she is having a wonderful time though so we will get over this phase....I hope!

Homeschooling is going better then I would have ever imagined. Sure there are days that I want to scream to the top of my lungs, drop her off at school then go have a latte, but the pros outweigh the cons by a mile.
